Final Project
Mercedes-Benz was created by two German engineers, Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler. In 1886, Karl Benz made the first car that used a gasoline engine. At the same time, Gottlieb Daimler was also building engines and cars. The name "Mercedes" came from a girl named Mercedes, who was the daughter of a man who sold the cars. In 1926, the two companies joined together and became Mercedes-Benz.
